Improve your chances on a CO-OP!

Currently the job market is extremely challenging, even obtaining a co-op is hard. When you are just starting to apply for your first co-op there are tricks and tips you might have not been aware of that could increase your chances on landing into a position.


Below are some of the consolidated tips shared by past and present co-op members on how they secured their positions or what they wish they had known when they initially began applying:


  • If the company you are applying for has dual application (ie. need to apply in both their website and your coop portal), then you MUST apply early!

  • Make sure to connect with the former co-ops who have worked there before committing to it. This is to ensure you landed into a non-toxic environment.
